Community Outreach Programs

The Community Outreach Program, implemented by AVH, has been instrumental in raising awareness, as well as enhancing the quality of life for patients and their families living in rural communities. Such communities are often deprived of access to healthcare services due to the inadequate or unavailable care provided by local clinics. 

In an effort to address this pressing issue, the program has established innovative healthcare initiatives for diabetes and mammography screening with the aim of introducing a comprehensive model for the treatment of diabetes within the Palestinian healthcare system, and raising awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
Furthermore, the program is working towards establishing a national resource and referral center for diabetes care, prevention, training, and research.
