Established in the 1950s, the Radiology department at Augusta Victoria Hospital is a highly respected center for the diagnosis and treatment of tumors and other medical conditions. The department boasts a comprehensive range of medical imaging services, including CT scans, television imaging, X-rays, medical imaging in operating rooms, and atomic scanning. It also performs interventional procedures, such as biopsies and catheter placements, using advanced technologies such as television and tomography.


Overall, the radiology department plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and tumors. Its advanced medical imaging technologies and skilled professionals allow doctors to identify problems and develop effective treatment plans for patients. The department's medical imaging exams, such as CT scans and PET scans, can be particularly valuable in detecting and staging cancer and tumors. The department is staffed by experienced professionals, including four physicians specializing in medical diagnosis, one resident physician, six technicians in medical imaging, and a nurse. The department operates during morning and evening shifts and sees a high number of patients seeking a variety of medical imaging services.
